Beets!!

And lots of them! Caleb and I cut the tops off (leaving three inches, though). 

Canning with Mommy is fun. :) I think we were listening to a preaching message or story on https://librivox.org/.

Your hands will get stained if you don't wear gloves. 

Boys??? I found a BB in one of the beets, but no one could remember shooting it. 

We pickled them this time. :)

Corn!!

A friend of ours let us borrow their corn de-silker. It has a soft brush attached to a small motor.

If you place the corn under the brush it will fling corn junk onto you. Sam and I had lots of fun spraying each other. :)

We blanched the corn, cut if off the cob, and then froze it.

There is still quite a bit of it in our freezer right now. It has been a big blessing! But be warned, it is a lot of messy work. :)
