Joshua and Abigail's Wedding

We took three vehicles. This is one of them. :P

We left around 8 a.m. so we had to stop for coffee. Well, my coffee cup got stuck by a safety pin that was sitting in the cupholder. As long as I kept it in there the cup didn't leak!

Rest stop

We got to our destination with no hitches! Here we are cutting up tomatoes for the salad.

Washing the serving dishes.

Making little meat, olive, and cheese appetizers

Cutting the cheese

The kale smelled interesting.

Putting water in the roasters

Filling the roaster pans with mashed potatoes

They are actually real potatoes. They're so good!

Dad likes to add onion and garlic powder plus a little sour cream to them.

Wrapping the potatoes up

A little peak at the decorations

The Next Day...

Breakfast pizza from Casey's General Store

T.J. putting mayo dressing thingies on the tables. :)

Sam putting kale on the appetizer plates

Anthony was a great help! Thank you, Anthony!!

Ben and some others came up with this,
"G n' G's Cannibalistic Kitchen, where heads will roll and hearts are broken"

Get your gloves on doctors!

Still working on the appetizers!

Josh, Dad, and I stirred the potatoes every 15 minutes

Our fearless leader! Dad! And sweet Mommy looking on. :)

Filling water pitchers

Filling bread baskets

Measuring out the salad. See Ben and Emmie counting with their fingers?

Josh ripping of squares of foil

Grace and I made browned butter to go on the potatoes. :)

How many more people can we fit in this room?

Yum yum!

Making desserts :)

Aunt Carol getting ready to put appetizers on the tables

Mom and Aunt Carol putting the appetizers on the tables

They were supposed to look mean... I don't think it worked. :D

Measuring out potatoes
I love how concentrated Ben and Josh look.

Putting together the serving bowls of potatoes

Putting together the platters of chicken

Making the salad

Washing dishes

Table-server meeting

Dad wanted us to unwrap each meat platter and add more chicken to them. :)

Calm before the storm

Meat and potatoes!

Ice coffee

Josh kept the ice coffee servers supplied with coffee and ice

We fed around 350 people!

Bridal table servers

Giving the table servers water and coffee

See Ben's phone up there? He did a time laps of us working from when the bridal table servers came to when we were cleaning up. :)

Some of us quickly grabbed a bite to eat before we had to serve desserts.

Some of us didn't get to finish because we had to start serving the desserts!

Almost all the leftovers and the dirty dishes. :)

Leftover buns

KK was carrying the trash out and it leaked on him. :P

The bride and groom

Ok, here is the time-lapse. :)

  3. Lovely! I love how you all work together! :)
How long have you all been doing this--making the food for weddings? The meal looked so delicious, I almost wished I could have had a plateful! And iced coffee, seriously! Haha! ;) Send me a cup!
All in all, enjoyed the pictures and the time lapse!

    1. Thank you! I think we have served food at five weddings... It is so much fun! I'd MUCH rather do the food than have to sit through the whole wedding! :D :D
