The Long Barracks are on the left hand side.
The chapel doors (we were not aloud to take pictures inside of it, sorry)
The line
A cannon ball hit the chapel here, on the left side of the white marker
These two men were very kind and informative

The tree beside the Alamo is around 300 years old (if I remember right)
Inside the 'long barracks' there was a whole bunch of artifacts, for example Davey Crocket's gun and a locket of his hair, spurs, bullets, etc.
Hey, Frank GRICE??
The mill stone
I can not for the life of me remember what this door was on display for... :(
All of us
We were all very hungry, so Nate and Gin bought everyone Domino's Pizza
It was so so good!
This duck liked to 'beg' for food. :)
This was the river Rio Grande
All done
It was so neat to look at all that history, but by the end of the day we were quite tired
Sunset
At the end of the day, I kept thinking of how many men and women gave and are giving their lives so that we can live the way we do. It is something that I will never tire of hearing about. I love history and to touch the walls and walk on the ground that those brave people gave their lives on was just awesome. Truly awesome.
That's a ton of pizza! Probably as much as my brothers would eat, lol! The sun set picture is so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, the Alamo is amazing! :) Love the sunset picture as well.
