Sweet little people...

Did I ever mention that I have the sweetest little nieces and nephew? Here are a few pictures and videos just to show their cuteness (sorry there aren't any of Alaina!)

Katelyn and I

Joseph and I

KK put Joseph in his big boots. They are almost as tall as the little man!

So so sweet!

Joseph was helping Emmie with laundry...

The littles love this game

Before
I cleaned the barn really well last week, because it was bothering me how messy it was!

After

After :)

Before
(Watson hardly moved the whole time I was cleaning the barn!)

After

Sam mowed one of my pastures, because it helps keep the weeds down, and he wanted to do it. :)

Only three pigs now... two of them went to the butcher last week (I think it was last week...). The big female pig weighed 350# and the other male pig weighed 222# hanging weight. So they were some big pigs!!

Swiss cheese, ham, and poppy seed sandwiches. So so yummy!!

Open the door of your heart, and let the Light of the world shine in!

Our life...

Isn't she CUTE?!?!

Grandma and Grandpa love their grandchildren

Lots of milk!
We share our milk with the families at Church, so this is a load of milk headed for Church where we are gonna distribute it.

Daddy being silly :)

The apple didn't fall far form the tree! KK is so much fun!

Emmie and I got some yummy drinks at McDonalds.
Shamrock Shake and a Caramel Frappe

My sweet brothers, Josh and Sam, making breakfast

Sam and I :)

KK was trying out his new microphone for his camera :)

I was thinking that I hadn't posted many pictures of Talitha lately, so here are a few.

She is really enjoying the grass!

Pigs

Sweet little Joseph <3

On Thursday of last week KK texted Emmie and I telling us that we should get all the guys at the job site hot chocolate and cookies. Well, being that it would be expensive to buy all that, we decided  to go home and make them fresh homemade cookies and hot chocolate.

KK

Josh working away!

KK told me I could...

A paper mache nose, and cotton eyebrows and mustache. Oh! And soot!

All gone! Well, almost!

My brothers...

Josh straining the milk

Yum yum!

It's kinda hard to see, but Josh, KK, and Sam helped me build a fence to divided the pasture in half. I'm hoping to keep Talitha from eating the pasture down too much.

Josh also build a ramp inside the barn for the pigs to run up and into a trailer. Two of the pigs went to the butcher today. :( :( I'm a little sad. I just try not to think to much about it.

Cleaning the barn is a job that I really enjoy!

Never ending manure! :) :)

My Grandma's Birthday!

Mom, Emmie, Sam, and I helped Gram clean up her yard and flower bed. It looked so much better with all the leaves and sticks cleared away. This is a picture of Sam planting some flowers Gram bought.

This is a card Sam made for Gram (my Grandma). Isn't it cute??

On March 26th Gram turned 78, so we decided to invited all the ladies from Church and have a big birthday party for her! We had Irish eggs, yogurt, scones, Irish soda bread, almonds, fruit, tea, coffee, and carrot cake.

Emmie putting the finishing touches on the carrot cake (Gram's favorite flavor!).

Mommy did a lot of the decorations, didn't she do a good job? She says she's not talented...

Yummy carrot cake!

Butterscotch scones

Gram and Emmie

Irish Eggs

Irish Scrambled Eggs
Yield: 2 servings

1 tablespoons of butter (brown the butter and it'll be even better!)
1 cup milk
4 eggs, well beaten
Salt and pepper to taste

In a medium saucepan bring the butter and milk to the boiling point over low heat (unless your like me and want to get it done quick! Then just put it on high and stir it constantly). Pour eggs into the milk and stir constantly. It is done when the eggs look light and fluffy and the milk has separated from the eggs. Season to taste.

Gifts!

Drinks

Gram was very blessed, which was our goal!

A little survey

Ok, so my sweet friend, Paige paigespages4thelord.blogspot.com, tagged me on her blog for a little survey. :)
Here are my answers!

1. Are you going to do the tag? Well, I'll do it, but I don't know enough people who would do it, to pass it on to!! :)).
2. How many siblings do you have? I have six, five brothers and one sister.
3. How do you think you'll be doing in 5 years from now? I should hope I'll be doing ok! Hehe!
4. How did you think of your blog title? If I remember correctly, I prayed that the Lord would show me what to call it. I really like the verses in Matthew 11 about how Jesus will give us rest, so I decided that that was what I would call it! :)
5. Are you an early bird, or a night owl? I can be either! But I think that I am more of a night owl.
6. What is your favorite flower? dianthus and scarlet pimpernel
7. What do you enjoy doing in your spare time? Reading! :)
8. Do you crochet? If you do, how long have you crocheted? No, I don't crochet, but I have often wished I knew how.
9. If there was 1 place in the world you could go, where would it be? If a trip, IRELAND! But to live, IOWA!
10. Can a sentence end with the word, "The"? Yes! "You can end a sentence with the!" (thank you, Ray Comfort!)
11. Have you enjoyed this post so far? My post or yours?? Hehe! Well, to be honest, I am hungry and tired, so I'm not enjoying it too much. Gasp! Did I just write that??? You posts are great, Paige!!

Have a great day everyone!
